FAQs

How are you different from other pet cremation providers?

We are a locally owned and operated pet cremation facility founded by Licensed Funeral Directors. Our team brings the same level of integrity, compassion, and professionalism to pet loss care as we do for human funerals. We are the only provider in the region with formal training in death, dying, and grief, and are nationally recognized through CANA and PLPA.

Do I have to use the cremation provider recommended by my veterinarian?

No. You have the legal right to choose your own pet cremation provider. Even if your veterinary hospital does not currently partner with us, we can still care for your pet. Call us at (585) 706-1706, and we will handle the coordination with your vet.

How do I know I’m getting only my pet’s ashes back?

We guarantee the return of your pet’s cremated remains—and only your pet’s remains. Because our funeral professionals oversee the entire process from beginning to end, we maintain strict identification and tracking protocols every step of the way.

How long does it take to receive my pet’s cremated remains?

We offer one of the fastest return times in the region. Our Pets at Peace Promise ensures your pet’s cremated remains will be available within 72 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. If we do not meet this promise, our services are free.

Do you offer private cremation?

Yes. We provide individual cremation services, meaning your pet is cremated alone. This ensures that the remains you receive are solely those of your pet.

What if my pet passes away at home?

You may either bring your pet to our facility or we can come to your home. Please call us at (585) 706-1706 to arrange care.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all veterinary hospitals and residential homes in Monroe County and the surrounding counties.

Can I pre-plan cremation services for my pet?

Yes. Many pet parents find peace of mind in planning ahead. Please contact us to discuss your wishes and set up arrangements in advance.

Do you offer memorial products or keepsakes?

Yes, we offer a selection of memorial items including urns, paw print impressions, and personalized keepsakes. Our staff will guide you through your options during the arrangement process.

How can I reach you if I need help right away?
